Overview
Stashh Messaging is our real-time chat feature making it even easier to connect with other NFT creators and collectors directly on the Stashh platform, either through Global Chat, direct messages, or a group chat of up to 10 Stashhers.

Start to chat
When you log in to Stashh, click the chat icon located at the top right corner of the page. It looks a bit like a speech bubble π¬
Your Messages pane will appear along with a few options, including:
- New message (βοΈ)
- Three-dot menu, allowing access to:
- Blocked chats
- Settings
- Search bar
- Global
- Messages
- Requests
Main options: Global, Messages, & Requests
Global
Click this option to chat with the entire Stashh community.
Messages
All of your direct (1:1) and group messages appear here.
Requests
Looking for your chat requests? Look no further. Approve or deny them here.
Create a new 1:1 message
To create a new message, click the pencil icon βοΈΒ near the top of the Messages window.
Search for and select the Stashh ID of the person youβd like to chat with, create your message, then send!
Your chat with this person will appear in the Messages section, along with other individual and group chats.
Create a group chat
Start a group chat using the same process as creating a new message.
Click the pencil icon βοΈΒ then search for and select up to nine (9) more Stashhers to the chat for a maximum of ten (10).
Create and send your message and away you go!
Leave a group chat
Were you placed in a group chat that you do not want to be in? Are you no longer interested in chatting in a group you are part of? We allow you the option to leave πͺ
To leave a group chat, open the chat, click the three-dot menu at the top right, click Chat Details, then click Leave Chat.
Leave a 1:1 chat
If you find yourself in a direct chat with someone and would like to remove yourself from the chat, click the three-dot menu located near the top right of the chat window, then click Chat Details. Under the Privacy & Support section, click π«Β Block.
This will hide any new messages from the person you were chatting with and prevent them from starting a new chat with you. This will also stop them from adding you to group chats.
Mute a chat
If youβre ready to silence a chat π click the three-dot menu at the top right of the chat window, click Chat Details, then click Mute.
Disable & enable chat
If you have no interest in Stashh Messaging, you can disable it by clicking the three-dots near the top right of the Messages pane. Click Settings, then deselect the Enable Chat toggle.
To enable the chat, enable the Enable Chat toggle.
Disable & enable sounds
You may prefer to silence the notification sound that is heard each time a message is received.
To disable these sounds, click the three-dots near the top right of the Messages pane. Click Settings, then deselect the Sounds Notifications toggle.
To enable sounds, enable the Sounds Notifications toggle π

Use the search bar to locate chats by Chat Names and Stashh IDs π
