Overview
Secret NFTs are unique, in that you can create an asset with hidden properties that only the owner can see in addition to the public properties that everyone can see. Follow along to learn how to create a regular asset!
TL;DR
1. On the homepage, click Assets, and select the collection that will hold the asset(s)
2. Select Regular Asset
3. Add your visual and descriptive elements and customize settings
4. Click Create NFT
Steps
- Go to the homepage, click Assets on the left side menu, and select the collection that will hold the asset(s).
- On the Select Asset Format page, click Regular Asset.
- Attached your public file, then your hidden file(s).
- The hidden file section can support multiple file types, such as an image, audio clip, text file, and more. Learn about our supported formats and sizes here.
- Add an awesome Name and Description.
- Add your Properties, which can be Public, Protected, or Private. Click the Add Property button to add a new property.
- Public: Anyone can see the name and value.
- Protected: Anyone can see the name, but only the owner can see the value.
- Private: Only the owner can see the name and value.
- Check your royalty settings in the Enable Royalties section. Whatever you set up on the collection level will be reflected here. You can modify these settings here as well, or toggle royalties ON or OFF.
- Lastly, decide if you would like to Place Asset for Sale, which allows you to create your listing on this page once the toggle is turned ON.
Note
Files uploaded to the Public File or Hidden Files section are uploaded to IPFS.
- Once you have finalized your asset you have two options:
- Save as Draft: Work on and mint this asset later.
- Create NFT: Mint this now 🚀
