Because Secret Network is private by default, Stashh cannot look inside your wallet to see what you own and display it without your permission. This is done by creating a Permit or a Viewing Key.
If you already have a Permit or Viewing Key, go to your Dashboard > Secret Stashh > Stashhed Collections where you can see your collections and everything that you own inside them.
Creating Viewing Keys or Permits
There are several ways to create Viewing Keys and Permits for a collection on Stashh:
From your Dashboard
If you have previously bought an asset, and it doesn't show up in your Dashboard, you probably need to recreate the Permit or Viewing Key.
- Navigate to your Stashhed Collections page.
- Click Add More.
- Search for the name of the collection your asset belongs to and click it.
- When the Create Permit popup appears, click the Create Permit button.
- Your wallet will ask to create a Permit. Click Approve.
- You will then see a page with all of the assets that you own within that collection.
From a collection or asset page
Tip
If the Unlock Private Metadata icon 🔑 on the collection or asset page is blue, it means you already have created a Permit for the collection. You can create another if you want to, but you should be able to use the current one to view what you own on your Stashhed Collections page.
- Navigate to a collection, or an asset in a collection, where you own at least one asset.
- Click the Unlock Private Metadata icon 🔑 located near the top right of the page.
- When the Create Permit popup appears, click Create Permit.
- Your wallet will then ask to create a Permit. Click Approve.
- Navigate to your Stashhed Collections page.
- The collection will now appear on this page. Stashh will use the Permit to detect what you own inside the collection and display it.
